Liferafts are supplied with a survival pack which contains the following:-
- 3 Pains Wessex Red Hand Flares
- Torch, spare bulb & batteries
- Bailer,
- Bellows,
- Sponges,
- Repair Kit,
- Light Sticks,
- Sea-sick tablets,
- Paddles.

ISO LIFERAFT HIRE PRICES
HIRE PERIOD – There is a minimum hire period of 4 days.
PAYMENT – Payment with booking, cheques and credit
cards accepted and must be payable to Mayday Marine Ltd.
BOOKINGS – Telephone and fax bookings accepted in addition to receiving booking forms by post.
LIFERAFTS – All offshore liferafts contain RORC packs.
All ISO liferafts are certificated with pack 2 emergency packs,
up to 24 hours.
LIFEJACKETS - Lifejackets that we offer for hire are manual/co2
inflation with harness or automatic/co2 inflation with harness
for adults and automatic/co2 inflation with harness for juniors.
Please be advised that should the hire lifejacket be inflated
the rearming will be charged for at the end of the hire period
at a rate of £12.00 inc VAT per lifejacket inflated.
SOLAS B GRAB BAGS - All Solas B grab bags comply with annex
2, of the code of practice for the safety of small commercial
motor and sailing vessels. Grab bag consists of: 1 spare sea
anchor, 1 category C first aid kit, 1 heliograph, 1 whistle,
1 radar reflector, 2 red parachute rockets, 3 red hand flares,
1 orange buoyant smoke flare, thermal protective aids (1 per
person), 1 Solas signal card.
EXTENSION OF HIRE PERIOD – Our charges for un-notified extension to the hire period will be £12 per day.
INSURANCE – The hirer is responsible for ensuring that
the hired equipment is fully insured through his own vessel's
insurance. Valuation for insurance purposes:-
- 4 Man - £900
- 6 Man - £1100
- 8 Man - £1300
- ISO RAFTS - £1600
CANCELLATION – A cancelled booking will incur
the following charges:-
- Between 14 – 21 days notice 10% of hire fee
- 7 – 14 days notice 25% of hire fee
- 2 – 7 days notice 75% of hire fee
- 1 days notice 90% of hire fee
AVAILABLIITY – Whilst Mayday Marine Ltd will make every effort to supply the items required, we cannot be held responsible in the event of failure to supply any item ordered.
DELIVERY – Delivery can be made by carrier (Cost to be
confirmed at time of booking) direct to your home, office or
marina reception, our normal free delivery area is between
Chichester and the Hamble marinas. Collection from our premises
or authorised agents is free.
RETURNS – It is the responsibility of the hirer to return hired equipment to Mayday Marine Ltd or authorised agent, on or before the due date.
REFUNDS ARE NOT MADE FOR EARLY RETURNS.
